What is senior week?

Senior Week is a week of fun activities for the class of 2022 (including those who started as '22s and took time off, as well as those who graduated in the fall/winter of 2021) to celebrate our achievements and to bring us together as a class one final time before Commencement! This year, Senior Week will take place from Friday, May 20 through Thursday, May 26, the day before Commencement!

Senior Week will begin with a kickoff event (as well as Senior Ball on May 20), include a series of both free and paid mid-week events (as well as several online events for those who may need to isolate), and end with Senior Toast on Thursday night. Some events will have limited capacity and therefore require a ticket, while others will have unlimited capacity. More information about how/when to purchase tickets can be found under the 'Ticketing' section below.

Eligibility

You are eligible to participate in Senior Week events if you:
‍
1) are graduating in May 2022
‍
2) graduated in the fall of 2021, or winter of 2022
‍
3) entered MIT in the fall of 2018

Ticketing

Tickets can be purchased through the adMIT One website. To maximize fairness, we will be using a staggered first come first serve system for each event that requires a ticket. Specifically, for each event, we will sell roughly 1/3 of the tickets at 3 different times throughout the week, so that hopefully everyone has a chance to try and purchase tickets for the events that appeal to them. We will set aside a few tickets for each event to be purchased on Friday for those who could not purchase tickets in any of the 3 time slots for a given event. In addition, there will be financial aid available for those who want to participate in Senior Week events but need financial assistance to pay for a ticket. More information to come on this soon.

REFUNDS

Senior Week Event tickets are non-refundable. Students may find another eligible student to transfer their ticket to, but must inform the Senior Week Committee before doing so. If a vendor cancels then the Senior Week Committee refund policy will default to that of the vendor's refund policy (i.e. if a vendor gives a full refund then students will be given a full refund).
